AIM & SCOPE

The International Journal of Business and Sustainable Development (IJBSD) publishes original contributions on all aspects of Business and Sustainable Development from academic, practitioner, and public policy perspectives.

It includes business management, marketing, banking & finance, economics, human resources management, entrepreneurship development, accounting, information technology, international business, hotel and tourism, business ethics, international relations, law, development studies, population studies, political science, history, journalism and mass communication, corporate governance, cross-cultural studies, public administration, agriculture, psychology, philosophy, sociology, women studies, religious studies, social welfare, anthropology, linguistics, education and so on.

There are three features that distinguish IJBSD, which collectively provide a unique position for the journal:

  1. IJBSD focuses on issues of concern to practitioners, academics, and policy-makers from a conceptual and empirical perspective.
  2. IJBSD has an underlying interest in public policy relating to Business and Sustainable Development, which is regularly addressed in the journal and in frequent special issues.
  3. The make-up of the IJBSD Editorial Advisory Board provides a comprehensive and genuinely international pool of reviewers. Each submission is assessed by two reviewers in a double-blind process.
IJBSD publishes original papers, review papers, conceptual frameworks, analytical and simulation models, case studies, empirical research, technical notes, and book reviews. Special Issues devoted to important topics in business and Sustainable Development will occasionally be published. Business innovation and research strategies, tactics, and tools of both theoretical and practical nature are welcome.
